Dweller looks at an ordinary day through a fuzzy ambient rock lens on “Blue Van Black Sky”
Dweller will release a new album this spring, the follow-up to their 2018 self-titled debut under the name. Our first taste of the new record is the single “Blue Van Black Sky,” out now.
“Blue Van Black Sky” sees the four piece — made up of singer-guitarists Cody Bluett and Luke Harsel (formerly of the indie psych band Family Vacation) as well as bassist John Groome (an XPN staff member) and John Kaeser — expanding upon their folk and ambient influences for a fuzzy, insightful observation of an “ordinary day.” Dweller worked with Justin Nazario to record, mix and master the new album.
Listen to “Blue Van Black Sky” below and tay tuned for Dweller’s new album out later this spring via Forged Artifacts.
