Like many touring artists, Emily Sailers and Amy Ray of Indigo Girls have found themselves canceling shows and looking for other ways to connect with their fans during the ongoing coronavirus quarantine. Following the recent announcement to postpone their March and April tour dates, the duo has announced they’ll ‘be going live on Facebook this Thursday, March 19, at 6pm ET, and playing a low key, homegrown set of songs and talking to people directly through Q & A.

Yesterday, Emily posted a video to Facebook with Indigo Girls PSA, urging fans to self-quarentine at home, like her at Amy Ray are doing. “This is for the good of public health, for our fellow human beings… Staying home has been an emotional roller coaster at times, but it’s worth it!”

The Indigo Girls’ upcoming album Look Long LP was originally scheduled for April 24th, but will now be released May 22nd via Rounder Records. Fans can pre-order the album now at indigogirls.com.
