Jeremy Keys yearns for connection on romantic soul “Need Your Love (Dilla Jawn)”
Hardwork Movement hookmaster Jeremy Keys brings his golden pipes to a new solo track called “Need Your Love (Dilla Jawn),” released earlier this week.
A reimagining of Slum Village’s “Sentimental Love,” the song finds Keys singing about a sense of romantic restlessness, sitting alone at night with his phone hoping for a call, a text, a DM, ANYTHING from the person he’s enamored with.
The song bops and grooves, and Keys slays the vocal as always. Listen below. Hardwork Movement is on the lineup of the 2020 Roots Picnic which, as of this writing, is still scheduled to take place on May 30th. Tickets and more information can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
