Birdie Busch and Jesse Hale Moore are going live on Instagram this Friday

Local singer-songwriters Birdie Busch and Jesse Hale Moore were originally going to be playing a show at Boot and Saddle this Friday. That’s of course been postponed, but to honor the original plan the two artists have decided to do a split-screen Instagram livestream concert instead. The show begins this Friday, May 8 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Busch’s Instagram account (@BirdieBusch).

Busch and Moore will accept tips via Venmo during the livestream, and will donate 50% of the proceeds to Kidz Meals on Wheels. The organization has partnered with Attic Brewing Company in Wayne Junction to use the brewery space to prepare boxed meals — over 5,000 so far — for local children experiencing food insecurity while schools are closed.
