Philly studio engineer and producer Will Yip and his label Memory Music are running a raffle to raise money for community bail funds, mutual aid funds, and racial justice organizers. The winner will receive a series of test presses from albums Yip has worked on, as well as a custom snare drum.
The winner of the raffle will receive LP test pressings of Anthony Green‘s Would You Still Be in Love, Pixie Queen, and Studio 4 Acoustic Session; Superheaven (formerly known as Daylight)’s Jar; Former Member’s Old Youth, La Dispute‘s Rooms of the House; Seer Believer’s Bent; and Tigers Jaw‘s Studio 4 Acoustic Session, as well as a 7″ test press of Anthony Green and Psychic Babble’s “Would You Still Be a Remix,” a sealed first pressing CD of Tigers Jaw’s self-titled album, and a custom Blackwood Drums and Percussion black brass snare that was used in many Studio 4 recordings.
Yip has been affiliated in the production, engineering, mixing, and mastering of albums by many prominent local bands, including The Menzingers, Modern Baseball, The Wonder Years, Balance and Composure, and Circa Survive.
