Canadian-American singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette was supposed to have an eventful 2020. She would take to the road on a 25th-anniversary tour for her Jagged Little Pill album as well as release her ninth studio album, Such Pretty Forks in the Road via Epiphany Music.

Instead, Morissette’s tour has been postponed to next summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Luckily, the pandemic hasn’t stopped the new record from being released. This week, Morissette dropped the newest track from the album, “Reckoning.” The emotional ballad is now one of four tracks from the new album including “Reasons I Drink,” “Smiling,” and “Diagnosis” already released.

Such Pretty Forks in the Road will be released on all major streaming platforms on July 31 and is available for pre-order here.
