Shamir announces new, self-titled album and releases new single “I Wonder”

Hot on the heels of releasing “On My Own,” Shamir has announced a new, self-titled album, set to be released on October 2nd. In addition to “On My Own,” already one of Shamir’s most popular songs on Spotify, the Philly-via-Vegas artist released a new single, “I Wonder.”

The music video for “I Wonder” shows Shamir, joined by two ethereal copies of himself, performing the slow-burning power-ballad. Similar to the video for “On My Own,” “I Wonder” is decidedly low-budget and seemingly filmed in Shamir’s home, a reminder that quarantine permeates every aspect of life, even when the music isn’t explicitly about it.
