Watch Liz Phair's acoustic XPNFest livestream set, featuring classics from Guyville and new cuts from Soberish - WXPN | Vinyl At Heart

Liz Phair brought a career-spanning set to her XPNFest Weekend livestream performance. All the way from her home in California, the celebrated singer-songwriter, joined in split-screen by her guitarist, started off with two songs from her now-iconic 1993 debut album, Exile in Guyville.

She called the older tunes a “blast from the past, and super fun to play,” but was equally eager to let us hear a few new songs from her forthcoming album, Soberish. She closed with her first-ever live performance of the new record’s great title track. Soberish‘s release date is TBA.

Watch Liz Phair’s set below and the rest of the XPNFest Weekend performances on our YouTube channel or via NPR Live Sessions.
