Pusha T and Killer Mike join Black Thought on new single “Good Morning”

The Roots’ Black Thought teamed up with Pusha T and Killer Mike for his new song “Good Morning,” a track that he says “speaks to an awakening.” It’s the latest single from his upcoming release Streams of Thought Vol. 3: Cane & Able, which comes out on September 18 via Republic Records.

The three rap legends complement each other creatively and energetically. “On any given day, the space that I occupy in the world is somewhere between a Killer Mike and a Pusha T, between an activist and a street hero, a man of the people and a man of the streets — that’s my origin story,” Black Thought recently told Variety. “I feel like both of their energies represent my own creative bipolarity.” They’re joined by hypeman  Swizz Beatz and producer Sean C on the track.
