The War on Drugs are up to something…

The War on Drugs is teasing… something. Yesterday, the Philly rock outfit posted a video on Instagram, showing grainy footage of a past concert, accompanied by some ambient music. With no caption, it’s difficult to say for sure whether they’re releasing new music, a live concert movie, or something else entirely.

The War on Drugs’ latest album, A Deeper Understanding, was released in August 2017, over three years ago. A new album wouldn’t be totally out of the question, as there have been three years in between each of their previous LP’s: 2008’s Wagonwheel Blues, 2011’s Slave Ambient, 2014’s Lost in the Dream, and their 2017 effort.
