Courtney Barnett will play a livestream with her band next month

Singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett announced a live stream concert, From Where I’m Standing, performed from her hometown of Melbourne, Australia on December 17. 

Barnett was due to embark on a long touring schedule in 2020, but it was brought to a halt due to COVID-19. She and her band will come together for the special one-night-only event, joined by filmmaker Derry Sheehan, who will help broadcast her performance of classics and new compositions to a global audience.

Barnett spoke about the event in a press release: “I’m so excited to play with my band again, for the first time in nearly a year! Gonna play some old songs and some brand new ones. It’ll be a special little show in an incredibly huge space.”
