REGOTHERESHEGO has made a career off of her unique blend of trap and pop. Her sound is bold and contemporary; she doesn’t pull a single punch in her artistry. Her newest single, “Intentions,” showcases that musical temperament perfectly.

The beat, created by darkwave producer REN, features a pulsing, distorted bass and a dark trap sound to it. Meanwhile, REGO sings overtop; her sound is unique and powerful, painting a picture even without considering the meaning of the song.

In a post on Instagram, REGO revealed that the song is a “controlled anger” that deals with realizing a change needs to happen. She also revealed that “Intentions” is the third track on her upcoming EP, Interlude.
