Watch Birdie Busch’s Attic Brewing Company Session

Birdie Busch recently headed over to Attic Brewing Company in her home neighborhood of Germantown to perform an Attic Session. The seven-song set, filmed in the empty brewery for a virtual audience, is available to watch now on YouTube.

Joined by Todd Erk on keys, Busch played some of her older songs as well as more recent singles like “Anchor and Sail,” which she recorded for the Fuel the Fight compilation to benefit local essential workers last year. “We’re really happy to be playing live music, to some degree,” Busch says.

The Attic Sessions showcase the talent of local Philadelphia musicians at time when live performances are limited due to the pandemic. Viewers are encouraged to support the artists directly, via Venmo or PayPal. Busch, also a visual artist, currently has artwork on display throughout the brewery’s taproom and beer garden.
