In the trailer narrated by Lushlife, he explains the complexity of his Indian heritage intersecting with his artistic work, “Since I was a youth, I always felt caught up between two worlds: my life as a rapper and my immigrant upbringing.” The documentary, directed by Siddharth Pal and edited by Leidy, was shot on a 2018 tour Lushlife took of India, and the footage shows an exploration of vibrant hip-hop culture through rappers, dancers, sneakerheads, and more.
