Lenny and Carl return with an eruption of emotion on latest track and music video “Motel Sick”

Creative Philly duo Lenny and Carl remain unpredictable with their eclectic variety of tracks, and their latest single “Motel Sick” does not stray away from that.

Released with a music video starring the duo Gab Landrum and Matt McMenamin, “Motel Sick” is a dream-like, emotional song that shifts from a gentle intro to a fast-paced kick with heightened sound and guitar riffs. In the music video, Landrum lyrically narrates the frustration of questioning someone else’s emotions — “I’m so into you / do you feel it too?,” a line they are shown yelling at McMenamin. As if Landrum is speaking to a wall, their counterpart does not acknowledge their confessions, creating a story of a one-sided relationship
