Azure Ray release dreamy, glittering “Bad Dream” from their upcoming album, Remedy

Nearly two decades into their career, Azure Ray are set to release their fifth album, Remedy, this June. Leading up to that they release the title track and have just released its second single, “Bad Dream.”

Drawn out synths and glimmering chords flood the song’s soundscape. Delicate, airy melodic lines and harmonies and The band gives their own explanation of the single in a press release:

“‘Bad Dream’ is our summer jam. It is more of an exhale; a drive with the windows down song. All of the songs on Remedy were written during the pandemic, so they all have elements of the struggles we faced this past year. ‘Bad Dream’ combines these anxieties but traces them through our past, questioning how our subconscious state of mind dictates our decisions.”
