Rosali shares “Waited All Day” video ahead of No Medium release

Ahead of the release of her new album No Medium this Friday, Rosali has shared a video for the single “Waited All Day,” a song that finds her speaking to her younger self with the self-awareness that only comes with time.

Rosali collaborated with her 16-year-old friend Aiden Killinger on the video. “I love his interpretation of the song, bringing his own set of feelings of angst, longing, and anticipation to the tune,” the songwriter says. Killinger was seen previously starring in Birds of Maya’s new music video, “BFIOU.”

While Rosali wrote most of the songs on No Medium in 2019, she may have accidentally created the perfect 2021 soundtrack. Over a year into a pandemic, who can’t relate to the solitude, quietness and “waiting all day” she sings of? Rosali’s songwriting approaches heavy emotional topics from a place of clarity — “the calm after the storm” — inadvertently giving us the hope we need right now.
