Sleater-Kinney announces new album and shares single “Worry With You”
Sleater-Kinney is back with their first new music in two years. Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker wrote and recorded a new album at home in Portland, Oregon during the turbulent and uncertain pandemic days of 2020. Path Of Wellness will be released June 11 via Mom+Pop, and the first single “Worry With You” is out now.
The single is accompanied by a video, filmed in Portland and directed by Alberta Poon, that brings the song’s love story to life. Watch below. Path Of Wellness is Sleater-Kinney’s 10th full-length album, and also their first stab at self-producing. Brownstein and Tucker are joined by local Portland-area musicians on the record, helping to bring their bold vision to life.
Sleater-Kinney will play the Mann Center on Sunday, August 22 as part of their co-headlining tour with Wilco. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 14 and can be found at manncenter.org, along with information about the venue’s COVID-19 health and safety guidelines.
