Todd Rundgren, Tina Turner, Carole King, Foo Fighters, and more will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has tallied the votes and will have a whopping thirteen inductees for the class of 2021.
Leading the fray is Delaware County’s own Todd Rundgren. Nominated for the third year in a row, Rundgren has finally found a spot in this year’s lineup despite his somewhat unfavorable opinion of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He’ll be joined by a few other notable artists, such as Tina Turner, Carole King, The Go-Gos, and Foo Fighters, among others. Additionally, Kraftwerk will be honored with the Early Influence Award for their work as pioneers of electronic music, along with several other artists.
This year’s induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 30 at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland. Tickets go on sale in July and the event will be streamed sometime after the event on HBO and HBO Max.
