The last time we saw beloved jam band Phish, they squeezed their gear and their tribe into the (for them) intimate confines of The Met Philly in late 2019.

Like everyone else, COVID put the kibosh on their touring plans for the past year and a half, but this week the band announced that their annual summer and fall excursions will be folded together into a run of dates beginning in late July and going all the way to Halloween, with a week-long Philly-area stopover in August.

The band plays two newly-announced Hersheypark Stadium on August 10th and August 11th, and then head to the Jersey shore for three rescheduled nights in a row on the beach in Atlantic City on August 13th, 14th, and 15th. Fan-friendly as ever, Phish is honoring previously purchased tickets to the AC apparances, while allowing fans to request early access to newly available tickets through their website, either by buying for individual shows, or as a multi-show bundle; the window to request tickets runs through Monday, May 17th, and purchases beyond that can be made through Ticketmaster beginning on Friday, May 21st at 10 a.m.

Due to the unpredictability of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, concert announcements at this point are still subject to change, and we recommend fans check back frequently for information. The band does not have any specific COVID health and safety details on their website, but did share the encouraging message “Stay healthy and safe, and please get vaccinated if you haven’t already! We can’t wait to see you out there soon.” The Hersheypark Stadium website reads “Consistent with updated guidance from Pennsylvania and the CDC, face coverings and social distancing for guests who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required.” Ticketmaster’s pages for the AC beach shows say “As official local health guidelines evolve regarding COVID-19 safety protocols, select venues may shift seating configurations and/or increase capacity.”
