Alongside the release of their new EP, JAZZ, Rodrigo y Gabriela have announced a 22-show tour throughout North America this fall. The Grammy-winning guitar duo will make a stop in Hershey, PA on October 8 for a show presented by Harrisburg University.

JAZZ finds Rodrigo y Gabriela interpreting Snarky Puppy’s “Lingus,” Astor Piazzolla’s “Oblivion,” and Kamasi Washington’s “Street Fighter Mas,” in their own unique style. “For the final track on the JAZZ EP, we really enjoyed the challenge of arranging and recording this epic 2014 track by jazz ensemble Snarky Puppy for two guitars,” Rodrigo shared.

“The response from our fans to our interpretations of the tracks by Kamasi Washington and Astor Piazzolla has been incredibly gratifying,” Gabriela said. “We really hope they will now enjoy the JAZZ EP as a complete listening experience, as it was a blast for us to put all the music together.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 21 at hersheyentertainment.com. The venue’s website details a commitment to following the guidance of the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health during the pandemic to provide a safe environment for live audiences. Find updated safety information here.
