World Cafe Live to host Lady Alma and PhillyBloco at Cira Green rooftop parties

World Cafe Live won’t reopen for in-person shows until the fall, but the venue is celebrating summer with two outdoor Rooftop Parties right around the corner at Cira Green next month.

Brazilian samba/funk ensemble PhillyBloco will perform on July 15, followed by Philly’s first lady of nu-soul Lady Alma plus Vertical Current Band on July 16. Both shows will offer food, drinks, and a prime view of the Philly skyline.

The shows are part of the nationwide Independent Venue Week, which celebrates the venues that are the backbone of live music. Proceeds from ticket sales will help support World Cafe Live on their path to reopening after the pandemic. Find more information at worldcafelive.com.
