Bachelor’s first tour brings them to The Foundry in September
Jay Som‘s Melina Duterte and Palehound‘s Ellen Kempner recently formed the new supergroup Bachelor. Now they’re bringing the project on the road, opening for Lucy Dacus this fall and playing a few headlining shows, including one in Philly at The Foundry on September 9.
Bachelor’s debut album Doomin’ Sun is out now, and Rolling Stone named it one of the best albums of 2021 so far. The two songwriters recorded it in California early last year, blending their unique tastes and writing styles. “We’ve been dear friends and huge fans of each other for years and were lucky enough to get to work together in January 2020 before quarantine,” the duo explained in a statement.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 18. Find more information at bachelor-band.com and visit thefillmorephilly.com for updated COVID safety guidelines.
