Two leading Philly MCs meld their singular styles and shared love of action in the new music video for “Blue Notes 2.” The star of the show is Meek Mill, who’s been on a roll this past year releasing one-off singles like “Flamerz Flow” and short projects like Quarantine Pack; for this video, which he co-directed with Kid Art, Meek teams up with the riotous Lil Uzi Vert riding Yamaha four-wheelers in parking lots and in the night-time streets, taking out their enemies while spitting bars about money and the problems that come with it.

Though Uzi is sometimes more prone to grab headlines for sensational stuff like reportedly buying a planet, or implanting and then removing a diamond from his forehead, he did release two full-length albums in 2020, including the long-awaited and delightfully trippy Eternal Atake. Musically, he’s a content machine, and on “Blue Notes 2” he shines — watch below.
