The Killers will warm up for Firefly with an intimate gig at Franklin Music Hall - WXPN | Vinyl At Heart

Their new album Pressure Machine is intimate and introspective, so it makes sense that Las Vegas modern rockers The Killers are warming up for Firefly Music Festival by playing a small (for them) show at the Franklin Music Hall.

The band just announced today that they will play the Philly venue on Wednesday, September 22nd, with tickets going on sale this Friday, September 10th at 10 a.m.. Coincidentally, that’s the same day Phoebe Bridgers plays The Mann Center, and she appears on the album’s song “Runaway Horses.” Is some cross-town collaboration in store? (Maybe not, but we can dream?)

Tickets and more information on the concert can be found at the Franklin Music Hall website. Pressure Machine came out August 13, and you can listen to it here; for the latest in Philly regional concert news, check out the XPN Concert Calendar.
