PRESS PLAY: 8 New Albums out September 17th!
The kickoff of our festival isn’t the only thing happening today (if you can believe that). Featured XPNFest guest Adia Victoria returns with A Southern Gothic, a bracing set of original and traditional material that examines the Black experience in the American south (both personal and historical). The Felice Brothers offer up the rowdy From Dreams to Dust, featuring group choruses and lively storytelling. Recent Free at Noon guest Billy Idol‘s 4-song EP The Roadside is a dark and dusty dispatch from punk icon. New Zealand favorites The Beths present a truly uncommon artifact: a live album recorded in 2020.
Three years on from his departure from Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham returns with his first purely solo album in a decade. Boundary-pushing superstar Lil Nas X showcases limitless creativity on his full-length debut, Montero. On Local Valley, José González revisits the earthy sonic textures that defined his early solo work. Melissa Etheridge dusts off a collection of prime material written around 30 years ago (and recorded in 2013) for One Way Out. PRESS PLAY on these new releases (and lots more) below…
