Tool are ready to finish what they started, according to lead singer Maynard James Keenan. The band has announced a sweeping 2022 tour throughout the United States and Europe. They will be making a stop in Philadelphia to play the Wells Fargo Center on February 20, 2022, with support from The Acid Helps.

The band decided to pick up where they left off and return to Eugene, Oregon, for their first show. Tool was supposed to play the Matthew Knight Arena on March 12, 2020, as part of their Fear Inoculum tour but had to cancel it along with their remaining tour dates due to lockdown restrictions.

“It is with great pleasure I get to announce our return to the road,” said their drummer, Danny Carey. “These past 18 months have been trying to say the least but from great trials come great lessons and great rewards. We are genuinely looking forward to sharing them with you.”

Tickets will be on sale Friday, October 1 at 10 a.m and can be purchased here.
