Speedy Ortiz comes to Sunflower Philly for an end-of-season banger
As the chill in the air starts to hang around more permanently, outdoor concert season is coming to a close. And Sunflower Philly, the premiere outdoor venue in the north Philly area, is finishing the season strong with indie rockers Speedy Ortiz on October 16th for what will be one of their first (and last) shows of the year.
This show features openers King Azaz — the west Philly punk duo of Christo Johnson and Sarah Schardt — as well as Carmen Perry of indiepop band Remember Sports. Speedy Ortiz, who released their last album Twerp Verse in 2018, have received continuous critical acclaim since their 2012 debut; meaning their October 16th show will bring a crowd to Sunflower’s lawn, so get your tickets now via the XPN Concert Calendar.
