Strand of Oaks’ ‘Winter Classic’ returns this December with a new home at Johnny Brenda’s

When he lived in Philly, Strand of Oaks‘ Tim Showalter made an annual tradition of ending the year with intimate solo shows mixed with deep cuts, covers, and collaborations in an event he dubbed the Winter Classic. Even though Showalter calls Austin home now, he’s making his way back to Philly this December to revive the series at a new home. The 2021 Strand of Oaks Winter Classic will take place on December 9th and December 10th at Johnny Brenda’s, and tickets go on sale tomorrow.
