Tank And The Bangas announce spring 2022 tour with a stop at Union Transfer
Tank And The Bangas are here to contribute to the torrent of Spring tour news today, with the announcement of a string of dates. The whirlwind run of shows will begin on March 9 in St Louis and bring them through the East Coast and back down South. Corey Henry, who delivered an ecstatic set at this year’s XPoNential Festival, will be accompanying them on tour. They will make a stop in Philadelphia on March 20 to play at Union Transfer.
In October, the Grammy-nominated band released their track “Big” featuring another New Orleans-based artist, Big Freedia. True to the name, the track is larger than life. The bouncy beat and witty flow make it seem animated as if they’re these epic figures instead of real people. A funky blend of soul and hip-hop, when Tank proclaims, “I got the juice to make the girls wanna move,” she’s absolutely correct. Infectious and fun it’s the type of song you find yourself randomly singing throughout the day
Tickets will be available on Friday, November 12 at 10 a.m. local time and can be purchased here.
