Kingsley Ibeneche will curate World Cafe Live’s first Mixtape residency ft. Ivy Sole, Khemist, Blu3 W3rd and more

With the new year, World Cafe Live is bringing a new feature into their programming calendar: the seasonal Mixtape residency, where the venue is asking some of its favorite Philadelphia artists to turn us on to their favorite artists. Imagine the music you’d discover from a friend on a dubbed cassette / burned CD / personalized playlist — that’s the vibe here.

Starting off the series is singer-songwriter / producer / dancer Kingsley Ibeneche, who is booking every Wednesday in January with a variety of emcees, singer-songwriters, producers and beyond, including Key faves Khemist on January 5th, a terrific double-header of Ivy Sole and Jasmine Cassell on January 12th, Cheeky collaborator Blu3 W3rd on January 19th, and more.
