PRESS PLAY: 8 New Albums out November 19th!

Adele‘s new album is out this week. That’s what you’re here for, right? Well lucky you there are plenty of other stellar new releases to explore once you give 30 a spin or three. Nearly a decade a half after their landmark Raising Sand, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss reunite (with producer T-Bone Burnett in tow) for the rollicking Raise the Roof. On The Bridge, his fifteenth solo album, Sting showcases the playful rock and soul sounds he’s honed over the decades. Shape-shifting New York crew Mr Twin Sister deliver their boldest collection, the neon cumbia opus Al Mundo Azul.

Best known as members of Peter Bjorn and John and Teddybears, Björn Yttling and Joakim Åhlund’s project Smile offers a masterclass in playful pop on Phantom Island. Brian Wilson revisits the Beach Boys songbook (and the spirit of 1995’s Don Was-produced soundtrack for I Just Wasn’t Made for These Times) on the intimate At My Piano. Stately rockers Elbow present Flying Dream 1, a collection of new ruminations from Guy Garvey and company. Recorded in the early 1970s, Another Side is the long lost solo debut from Leo Nocentelli, founding guitarist of New Orleans funk mainstays The Meters.
