Philly indie four-piece Zinskē played exactly one live show last year, but it was a great one: a support slot on The Vernes’ sold-out album release show at Johnny Brenda’s, where they showed off some of their own new music that’s been brewing for a few years.

For those who couldn’t be there, the band shared a delightfully strange new music video this week for “Freon Dumb,” a single from Zinskē’s upcoming album Murder Mart, which releases next month.

Made up of Chris Lipczynski on guitar and vocals, Kevin O’Halloran on lead guitar, Emily Cahill on bass, and Derek Salazar on drums, Zinskē makes easy-to-love indie-psychedelia, spanning hooky songs and heady fuzz in a manner similar to The Dandy Warhols.

The music video for “Freon Dumb,” directed by C. Zynski, follows an other-worldly explorer decked out in a gas mask and radiation suit, wandering through forest with graffiti covered rocks, racing through multi-colored plumes of smoke. Give it a watch below and pre-order Murder Mart over on Bandcamp.
