Firefly’s 2022 lineup includes Green Day, Halsey, My Chemical Romance, Mannequin Pussy, Willow and more

Firefly Music Festival is returning to the Woodlands of Dover, Delaware — and just like XPoNential Music Festival, it’s keeping its new autumn dates in place.

Relocating to September last year for its first event since the COVID-19 pandemic, Firefly 2022 will once again straddle seasons, kicking off on Thursday, September 22nd and running through Sunday, September 25th, bringing headliners Green Day, Dua Lipa, Halsey, and My Chemical Romance to the Woodlands.

Beyond each day’s headliners, Firefly presents its usual mix of modern rock, hip-hop, EDM, pop, punk and beyond. The lineup is hyperpop-heavy, with icons 100 gecs in the mix alongside Charli XCX, Jamie xx and Nagoya, Japan sensations Chai. XPN favorites The Head and The Heart are in the mix, as are Philly’s Mannequin Pussy, buzzing Asheville artist Indigo De Souza and the dazzling Willow. On the hip-hop front, acclaimed UK rapper Little Simz will return to Firefly, as will grizzly Buffalo rapper Benny The Butcher, and pop crossover artists like Ashnikko and Mallrat.
