Courtney Barnett and Lucy Dacus will play The Mann Center in July

Singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett just announced the make-up date for her postponed Met Philly show from last month, and it’s a good one. This summer, Barnett will headline The Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Fairmount Park on Thursday, July 28th, and Lucy Dacus opens the show.

Dacus has been keeping busy in support of her acclaimed 2021 album Home Video; she played Asbury Park last weekend, she plays Free at Noon this Friday, and the Mann Center gig comes just a week after she headlines Central Park SummerStage in Manhattan.

New York indie pop outfit Samia opens the show; we last checked in with her in the fall, when she played a sold-out show at Johnny Brenda’s.
