Philly’s Korine leans into dazzling visuals and vibrant drama on the music video for their new single “Forevermore,” out today.

The synthpop duo of Trey Frye and Morgy Ramone has been active since 2017, and is getting ready to release their third LP, Tear, on February 17th via Avant! Records and Born Losers. “Forevermore” is the the closing track to Tear, and is meant to feel like the closing credits music in a movie, the band tells us. The song’s prismatic video — directed and edited by Max R. Holland and built around layers and clips of Frye and Ramone performing — “is kind of an homage to early 2000s MTV,” says Frye over email.

Watch the “Forevermore” video below, pre-order Tear at Bandcamp, and catch Korine’s February 16th album release party at Johnny Brenda’s; tickets and more information on the show can be found at the WXPN Concerts & Events page.
