Navigating the music industry is never a smooth experience, but it gets easier with help. For the past several years, Philly Music Fest has included a feature called Inside Hustle in its programming: an event where expert panelists give their perspective and offer advice, and folks from all sides of the music industry — artists, promoters, producers and more — have an opportunity to connect and network.

This year, Inside Hustle is expanding into a twice-annually event. In partnership with WXPN, a spring edition of Inside Hustle takes place on May 1st at REC Philly, timed to coincide with WXPN’s annual NON-COMMvention, it kicks off the week on Monday, with NON-COMM officially beginning Tuesday.

Inside Hustle features a panel talk with musicians Chill Moody, Julia Pratt, and Jillian Taylor of Ruby The Hatchet moderated by WXPN’s Bruce Warren, followed by an open-networking expo event, with tables focused on management, promotions, radio, promotion, fan engagement, and more. Find the full list of participants below.

The event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. on May 1st and is free to attend, but you have to RSVP, so do that here and we’ll see you there.
