Joining us in the studio for this Indie Rock Hit Parade session is a songwriter-producer who fuses deep electronica with guitar balladry. Miss Grit is the project of Margaret Sohn, a New York-based artist whose earliest singles occupied a striking crossroads of humanity and technological artifice. Those themes are similarly abundant on their full-length debut album, Follow the Cyborg, released earlier this year. Joined in this session by keyboardist/vocalist Kate Steinberg and bassist Jhai Cinnamon, Miss Grit performs a selection of the album’s highlights in our studio.
