Happy birthday, Todd Rundgren! The Delco-rooted singer, songwriter, producer, and collaborator turns 75 on June 22nd, and over 50 of those years have been spent making music in some capacity — with his formative band Nazz, as a prolific solo artist, as a producer for bands like The American Dream, collaborations with artists from The Roots to Robyn to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

To celebrate the milestone birthday of one of our favorites here at WXPN, Rundgren is our Featured artist for this week’s Throwback Thursday. Tune in all day long for hits, deep cuts, selection from Todd’s own bands as well as his solo work. Tune in to hear selections from albums Rundgren has produced in the 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. hour, as well as album sides from 1972’s Something / Anything? in the 1 p.m. hour and 1978’s Hermit of Mink Hollow in the 6 p.m. hour.

Tune in all day long and celebrate the music — and birthday — of a Philly icon all day long for this week’s Throwback Thursday!
