In the completely unthinkable case that you’ve been living under a literal rock for the last five years and aren’t aware, boygenius is a singer-songwriter supergroup comprised of indie-folk sensations Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, and Phoebe Bridgers. The the three artists’ creative output stretches back a decade, and their first full-length album the record was released earlier this year to high praise and global recognition, landing the trio at the top of the US folk and rock charts. And now, they’ll be making a special stop at The Mann Center TD Pavillion on September 30th just for you.

Opening the show is New York City native Samia, whose songwriting prowess and outstanding vocal performance rightfully warrant boygenius’ seal of approval. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 14th at 10 am, so run – don’t walk – to grab yours before they inevitably sell out. Get more information at WXPN’s Concerts and Events page or, to get a head start, enter WXPN’s Ticket Giveaway of the Week and maybe win yourself a pair of tickets to the show.

While you wait, click the link below to check out their short film based on the record starring Baker, Dacus, and Bridgers, and directed by (you’ll never guess who it’s directed by) Kristen Stewart. For more, revisit boygenius’ World Cafe interview with Raina Douris, which you can listen to here.
