The devious 90’s rock band Porno for Pyros is making their touring comeback this fall. A 21-city tour, their first in 25 years, will depart on October 5th in honor of the band’s self-titled album’s 30-year anniversary, coming to the Philadelphia region this November.

With only two albums to their name, Porno for Pyros formed in 1992 in the aftermath of frontman Perry Farrell’s previous band Jane’s Addiction; they released a self titled album, which spawned the alt radio hit “Pets,” as well as the 1996 follow-up Good God’s Urge before disbanding. In 2022, the other original band members Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano, and Martyn LeNoble reunited with Farrell to play a show at the Belasco in Los Angeles. The group also replaced Jane’s Addiction on the 2022 Lollapalooza lineup, the festival being yet another project founded by Farrell.

The band’s 2023 tour, titled “Horns, Thorns En Halos,” comes to Parx Casino and Racing in Bensalem, PA on Nov. 3rd. Tickets will be available for presale starting July 12th, and the general sale will land on July 14th, 10 a.m. local time. For more, head to WXPN’s Concerts and Events page.

Keep an eye out for more news regarding the Porno for Pyros later this year, as the group has also been working in the studio on new music, according to a press release.
