Originally formed during the 1960s British Blues boom which eventually translated into the Laurel Canyon era, today’s #TBTXPN featured artist is none other than Fleetwood Mac who created timeless hits like “Landslide” in their 50-year run.
Adding Christine McVie in the late 60s and Stevie Nicks in the early 70s, the addition of the female vocals gave the band a more pop rock sound, than blues. They won their first Grammy in 1978 for Rumours, which continues to be their most popular album featuring hits such as “Dreams” and “Go Your Own Way.” Audiences have continued to support the group and its members over the years, despite being plagued by tension and strained relationships. Emotions that have been prominently featured in their songwriting — listen today at the top of every hours to hear deep cuts, hits, live versions and more. Stream from anywhere at xpn.org
