Hip-Hop veterans The Pharcyde have announced a string of performances for the summer and fall, including a concert at Philly’s Brooklyn Bowl on November 15. The eight-show run kicks off August 10 at the Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, Colorado before hitting Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Arkansas’ Format Festival, and New York’s own Brooklyn Bowl among others.
The Pharcyde, originally comprised of Imani, Slimkid3, Bootie Brown, and Fatlip, formed in 1989 in South Central Los Angeles but haven’t played Philly since 2017. That year marked the 25th anniversary of the group’s landmark album Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde. Members Fatlip and SlimKid3 embarked on a celebration tour, playing the album in full at the now closed Coda where they packed the house and performed a rambunctious, energetic set.
