The annual outdoor concert series Open Sound Lansdowne has announced their 2023 lineup of artists and dates. Created in June of 2018, the festival consists of free concerts throughout the summer at the Lansdowne Landing, 30 N Lansdowne Ave, just across the Delaware County border.
This year, shows will take place each Thursday night of September from 7 to 10 p.m. Kicking off the season is Zoe Lemon, Synergy Corp, and returning act Geology on Sept. 7th. On the 14th, the acts will be Oren, Knowing Looks, and Ava Mirzadegan. The 21st will feature A Summer Storm, Amelia Cry Til I Die — that’s the solo project of Sadurn drummer Amelia Swain — and Daylight Savings & Loans. The final show of the season boasts Julian, Air Devi, and Olive Fine, also returning for their second straight Open Sound festival.
In the past, this series has boasted performances from rising acts such as Strawberry Runners, Big Nothing, Frances Quinlan (aka F. Bomb), and Radiator Hospital. For more information on the festival and to stay up to date with show status, follow Open Sound Lansdowne on Instagram or Facebook!
