Can we get a hell yeah for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs? The New Your City art rock / post punk / indie dance favorites are finally bringing their acclaimed fifth album Cool It Down to Philly, where they’ll headline The Met on November 8th. Tickets are on sale Friday, September 15th at 10 a.m.

Propelled by post-punk atmospheres and danced modern rock rhythms, Cool It Down was a welcome return to form for Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase. The album ranked number 12 in WXPN’s Best of 2022 MEGA-List, and Wendy Rollins raved in her writeup, “There are no skips on this album. I was hooked when I heard the fuzzy guitar, bold strings, and unhinged vocals on ‘Burning.’ Once I dug in, I found it’s wild and chaotic (‘Wolf’) as much as introspective and dreamy (‘Different Today’) and just when you think you can follow the path, they conclude with a spoken word piece about O’s son (‘Mars’).”
