If you’ve been following Philadelphia’s DIY music scene as of recently, then you know Friend is a force to be reckoned with. Since forming back in 2021, the self-proclaimed goblin punk trio has been booked and busy, and recent played their 100th show in at Creep Records in Port Richmond. Even after releasing three full albums, a handful of singles, and shredding up small venues and basements all around the city, they’re not slowing down anytime soon.
Signing with Philly-based label Born Losers Records for the future release of their fourth album DOG EATS DOG, their first single “ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD” is out now. The new single is accompanied by a music video filmed by Daniel Rosendale. We can expect the full album release this upcoming February, but until then, go support the goblins and follow along on their musical quest.
