(UPDATE 10/5: Due to popular demand, a second night has been added to Mitski’s Philly stay; she’ll perform at The Met Philly February 6th and 7th, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 6th at 10 a.m.)
Big news, Mitski fans: the celebrated indie rock singer-songwriter announced her 2024 tour today, and it includes a Philadelphia stop at The Met on February 6th.
The two-and-a-half month run is supporting Mitski’s seventh studio LP, The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We, a return to Mitski’s folk-rock roots and away from the frenetic synthpop and arty soundscapes of her most recent two records. Joining her is Tamino, the reflective Belgian-Egyptian artist who wowed us at the XPoNential Music Festival in 2022.
Tickets go on sale Friday, October 6th at 10 a.m.; more information can be found at WXPN’s Concerts and Events page.
