Celebrated singer-songwriter Norah Jones is back with new music this year, and her first Philly concert in two years. Visions is out March 8th on Jones’ longtime label Blue Note Records; it’s a collaboration with Leon Michels of the cinematic soul group El Michels Affair (a band that released a breathtaking collaboration with Philly’s Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter in 2022). The album’s lead single “Running” is out now, and you can listen to it below.
With the news comes Jones’ first tour in a couple years, and it’s a run of intimate (for her) spaces. Where her last Philly stop happened in summer of 2022 at The Mann Center’s TD Pavilion, this time she plays The Met Philadelphia with Emily King on May 15th. The concert goes on sale on January 26th at 10 a.m., details and information can be found at WXPN’s Concert Calendar. Norah Jones’ full tour itinerary can be found below, Visions can be pre-ordered and pre-saved here.
