6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. – A special all-women Friday Morning Mixtape of community-curated music.
7:30 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. – Kristen Kurtis chats with Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney and plays new music from the band.
8:00 a.m. – Playback begins for the Top 50 songs from last year’s 885 Greatest Songs By Women countdown.
The XPN Midday Show
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – The Top 50 songs from last year’s 885 Greatest Songs By Women countdown.
12:40 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – A playlist of women artists picks up after Free at Noon.
1:30 p.m. – Local Pick Live with Brittany Ann Tranbaugh debuting her new single in studio with Mike Vasilikos and playing some of her favorite women from the scene.
World Cafe
2 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Raina Douris hosts a show spotlighting iconic women artists, including an encore of the World Cafe interview with Melody Clinger of The Clingers, one of the first all-girl groups to play their own instruments and be signed to a major label.
XPN Friday Night
4 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Funky Friday with Dan Reed spotlights soul singers and female funkateers.
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Land of the Lost with DJ Robert Drake celebrates ladies of the ‘80s.
9 p.m. – 11 p.m. – What’s the Frequency? has guest DJ Wendy Rollins joining John Vettese as women of the ‘90s take over the show.
