The Ohian blues-rock duo The Black Keys are celebrating a successful SXSW performance and documentary showing last month. Today, they announced the next phase of their new era: heading back on tour in the fall following their European stint this coming spring.
The tour coined “International Players Tour” is in support of their upcoming album Ohio Players due for a release this Friday. The album will feature collaborations between their friends and fellow musicians, Beck, Noel Gallagher, Dan the Automator, and more. The 31-date run includes a stop at Wells Fargo Center on October 21. Beatles-esque pop/indie folk band The Head and The Heart will be joining the show as direct support.
Tickets go on presale tomorrow April 2 at 10 am, and will remain on presale until Thursday evening. The general sale begins Friday. You can find tickets and more details on via the WXPN Concerts and Events page. Listen to The Black Keys’ latest single “This Is Nowhere” below.
